Terms of Use
Patriot Price Board ("we", "us", "the Board") is a free price-comparison and deal-alert website. These terms explain how the Board works and what you agree to when you use it. Please read them; they are written in plain English on purpose.
1. What the Board is
- We collect publicly posted prices and stock status from third-party retailers and show the ones we have verified as in stock, with a "verified X hours ago" time on each listing.
- When you tap "View deal", you leave the Board and go to the retailer's website.
- We are not a store, dealer, broker, auction or marketplace, and we never take payment for any product.
2. We do not sell or ship anything
All sales are between you and the retailer. The retailer is responsible for the product, the price it charges you, shipping, returns, warranties, and every legal requirement for the sale, including age checks, background checks, FFL transfers, NFA paperwork for suppressors, and state or local restrictions. Some items cannot be shipped to some states or cities. Check the retailer's rules and your local laws before you buy.
3. Prices and stock can change
Retailers change prices and sell out quickly. We check listings on a schedule (currently about twice a day) and hide anything we have not verified as in stock recently, but a price or stock status can change after we check it. The retailer's checkout price is the one that counts. Listings may contain mistakes, including wrong prices, photos, specs, or product details. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or available.
4. Affiliate links
Some "View deal" links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
5. Who can use the Board
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use alerts. You are responsible for making sure that anything you buy is legal for you to own where you live.
6. Member accounts, watchlists and alerts
- You can sign in with your email address to save watchlists and get alerts by phone notification or email.
- Alerts are a convenience. They can arrive late, arrive after an item sells out, or not arrive at all (for example, if your phone has notifications turned off). Do not rely on them for anything time-critical.
- Keep your email account secure; anyone who can open your sign-in emails can sign in as you.
- You can delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not scrape or copy the Board in bulk, overload or attack the site, try to get into other members' accounts, or use the Board for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
8. Third-party sites and reviews
Retailer websites are run by others, with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them. Any product reviews or ratings shown on the Board are summaries for general information only and are not professional advice.
9. No warranty; limit of liability
The Board is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Board, a listing, an alert, or a purchase from a retailer. [Attorney to finalize liability cap and indemnity language.]
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for members, may also notify you by email.
